Problem Statment

Nichoa's platform lacks visual polish, seamless navigation, and a compelling brand story, making it difficult to convert and build trust with health-conscious mothers.

Goal

Redesign the platform with a polished visual identity, seamless shopping experience, and compelling brand storytelling to build trust and drive conversions.

The Design Process

Starting with ideas, planning, and competitor research, I mapped user flows, built wireframes, and delivered a tested UI prototype that reflects Nichoa's brand identity.

User Flow

I mapped the user flow to ensure a seamless journey from product discovery to checkout, tailored for health-conscious mothers.

Wireframe

I structured each page to directly address user frustrations, ensuring product information is digestible, dietary filters are accessible, and the path to purchase feels effortless..

Design System

I built a design system using Poppins for readability, golden yellow for Nichoa's premium identity, cream for a natural feel, and deep brown to reflect its authentic cacao roots.

UI Design

I translated the wireframes and design system into a polished UI that tells Nichoa's brand story, makes product browsing effortless, and guides health-conscious mothers through a seamless shopping experience.

Conclusion

Nichoa's product has a good story behind it. Local farmers, bean-to-bar process, genuinely healthy chocolate. But the website wasn't showing any of that, and for an audience that really cares about what they're buying, that gap matters. The redesign tried to close that gap by bringing the brand story forward and making the shopping experience feel as thoughtful as the product itself.

What I Learned

Designing for a specific person is completely different. Health-conscious mothers aren't just a demographic, they're skeptical, they read labels, they need to feel confident before buying. That changed how I thought about every section of the page.

Brand storytelling is a design skill. Having nice visuals isn't enough on its own. Learning how to sequence information so the brand story lands before the product pitch was something I genuinely had to figure out through this project.
